Meet your hosts

Sarah Kieffer, Managing Director

Sarah is a Managing Director at Embark and leads our Workiva practice. In addition to Workiva, she manages projects in several areas, including SEC reporting, technical accounting, process improvement and automation, consolidations, and foreign currency projects. She has 14+ years of broad accounting, finance, and audit experience. Sarah started her career at EY and Deloitte auditing publicly traded energy companies. Afterward, she spent nearly a decade leading accounting and financial reporting teams, with a specialty in SEC reporting. Sarah has worked in various industries, including energy, infrastructure and financial services.

Eric Ramirez, Managing Director

Eric has extensive experience in both Financial Reporting and Business Intelligence, improving business processes and helping management and their teams make better and faster decisions. Eric’s experience ranges from public accounting, public filers, PE backed portcos, and consulting. Eric attended Harding University and resides in Houston.

Leeds Latham, Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager with Embark’s Business Transformation practice, Leeds manages engagement teams on a variety of technical accounting, financial reporting, and Workiva-related projects. He has over 9+ years of broad accounting, finance, and audit experience. Leeds began his career in KPMG’s audit practice, working with clients from a spectrum of industries, including healthcare, higher education, and not-for-profits. While he enjoyed the team environment, challenging problems, and client service aspects of audit, he wanted to be in a more collaborative role that allowed him to work more directly on his client’s challenges.
